I disagree with Chaucer, love is not only blind it is deaf, dumb and sometimes downright stupid. Thirty years ago, I met my husband in Miami and within months and without any preparation, moved to rural Switzerland.  My own reality integration adventure began.  Even after three children and all this time, my southern (Memphis, Tennessee) and Swiss cultures collide, erupting in head-shaking, “hide in the closet” mistakes.
